Dr. Ligon has also volunteered his time in rural parts of Virginia, Indian reservations in North Carolina, and really enjoyed two separate mission trips to Jamaica to provide free dentistry to an underserved population.

He has trained at the Dawson Academy for dental education and has been a member of the prestigious Seattle Study Club for the past four years. Dr. Wansi is a New Orleans native who moved to Charlotte during her sophomore year of high school, where she attended Charlotte Catholic High School. Dr. Wansi always wanted to be a physician. Her passion to become a dentist blossomed from the frustration of her mother trying to find a good, caring, and loving dentist for her younger brother and her. Witnessing her mother’s frustration, created her deep passion about giving back to the community on a local and global level. Dr. Wansi volunteers with her local church, Mother’s Missions of Mercy, and she has also traveled to Senegal, Africa giving free dental treatment to children. Dr. Wansi is no stranger to Africa, she spent her middle school years in Cameroon, West Africa, and also lived in Malawi for a few months as a teenager. She plans to go back to Africa and volunteer again.
When Dr. Wansi isn’t working or volunteering you can find her Salsa dancing, spending time with her family or baking. Dr. Wansi is a kind, gentle and loving Dentist just like the one her mother was searching for so many years ago for her family. We are proud to welcome Dr. Brenda Wansi to our family.
