Meet Davis Ligon, DDS
A native of South Boston, Virginia, Dr. Ligon graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.S. in biology and minor in Spanish. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University.
After graduation, he completed a yearlong advanced education in general dentistry postdoctoral residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. This residency afforded Dr. Ligon the opportunity to expand his practice to include complex multidisciplinary cases and extensive training in cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Ligon thrives on educating his patients and providing comprehensive, thoughtful care to each of them. Dr. Ligon has also volunteered his time in rural parts of Virginia, Indian reservations in North Carolina, and really enjoyed two separate mission trips to Jamaica to provide free dentistry to an underserved population.
Dr. Ligon consistently exceeds the requirements for continuing education throughout his years of practice and believes constantly learning about new procedures and techniques allows him to provide his patients with the best dental care possible. He has trained at the Dawson Academy for dental education and has been a member of the prestigious Seattle Study Club for the past four years.
In his spare time, he enjoys just about any outdoor activity and spending time with his family and friends.
